Josef Icmen

Dear Rotary members,

A month has already passed in the Rotary year and you notice that the vacations are coming to an end as most people start to return to the everyday life. Hope you had a nice summer break and managed to take some time off!

With this presidential letter, I want to inform about some of our upcoming regular meetings for the autumn as well as some changes within the board.

I begin by informing about our first meeting which will be together with the Stockholm City Business Network on Wednesday 28th of august. We will be attending their Autumn Kickoff and hopefully look forward to meeting you there. An excellent opportunity to network and make contacts. The autumn kickoff will be at TAK/SUS in Brunkebergstorg 4-6. You can register for the event at Polaris and on Stockholm City Business Network's website. You will find a link to the Stockholm City Business Network when you register for the event at Polaris. You must register on both Polaris and Stockholm City Business Network's website. Welcome!

We would also like to inform about our exchange student from Argentina who has landed in Sweden. We welcome our exchange student, and are inviting you to our regular meeting on Wednesday 11th of September at Impact Hub Stockholm, to listen to a presentation by our exchange student. During the meeting, she will talk about herself, her home country Argentina and the cultural differences between Sweden and Argentina. It will be an exciting chance to learn more about another culture and understand cultural differences that may arise. We look forward to an inspiring and educational evening together. Stay tuned, as you will be able to register for this meeting at Polaris.

Last but not least, we have some board information. As some of you may know, it was planned that our new, but well-experienced member Sara Lüdtke would be the incoming president for this Rotary year. Due to personal reasons, she has chosen to resign from her position. Sadly for us, of course, as we lose a passionate member of the board, but health comes first and we send strength hugs to Sara and hope she gets better.

With that being said, I wish you a nice August, and enjoy the beautiful weather while you can!

Best regards,

Josef Icmen
